Scholarship Recipient FAQs

Recently awarded a STEM Scholarship from Breaux & Associates Architects?
Congratulations- you have an entire firm of Architects rooting for you! Take a look below for your next steps.

Our process is super easy. All we need is for you to email us with:
– Your full name
– University student ID number
– The university/school you will be attending.

We send your awarded funds directly to the university to be applied to your student account. For quickest results, please email the information requested above toScholarships@bxarch.com

Unless specifically stated otherwise, BXA STEM Scholarships entitle you to a one-time award.

School Counselor/Leadership FAQs

We send instructions for our scholarship annually, as our process is subject to change,
but below you’ll find the questions we receive most often.

Although we prefer that our scholarship is awarded to students pursuing a STEM related field, all criteria and qualifications are to be determined by your school system. We like to prioritize students who are interested in the field of Architecture and Engineering, but understand that this isn’t always applicable. Eligibility of this scholarship will be totally at the discretion of your school system.

We empower our partner systems to select recipients they think best deserve our scholarship. The selection process is completely up to your school system, and we do not need to be consulted in the process.

ABSOLUTELY! We try to attend as many awards nights as we are able to each year, so please email those dates to our Director of Outreach at Scholarships@bxarch.com.

Definitely. We much prefer to give our recipients a BXA certificate, as we generally put instructions for their next steps on the back of the certificate. We will bring a physical copy of the certificate if we are scheduled to attend the award night, and we will email you a copy of the certificate if we are unable to be present in person.

We provide next step instructions on the back of their certificates, but we ask that youtell students to reach out directly to us at Scholarships@bxarch.com
